Community Health Strengthening
About the Program
Pastoralist communities in remote areas often face limited access to health services and information, contributing to preventable diseases and poor maternal and child health outcomes.
DCO works to improve community health through outreach programs, health education campaigns, and support for community health workers. Our programs focus on maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, family planning, hygiene and nutrition, and prevention of communicable diseases, including HIV and sexually transmitted infections.
Through collaboration with community leaders and traditional birth attendants, DCO promotes culturally appropriate health education and strengthens local health systems to improve access to essential services.
How You Can Help
Your support can change a child's future. A donation of $50 provides school supplies for one child for an entire year. $200 covers tuition and materials for a term. Join us in building brighter futures through education.
